RAPA Construction Work resumes following holidays

On January 3rd, construction for the Remedial Action Plan Addendum (RAPA) resumed with extraction well drilling at two locations outside the Tallevast community.  One location was on 15th Street to the northwest of the community and the other was on the Desenberg property located to the east of the community.

Additional drilling activities will also take place this week on the Lockheed Martin site, and work may also begin on drilling in the Rights of Way area on 17th St. Ct. East. 

The construction schedule for next week (Jan. 9 – 13) will include the continued drilling on 17th St. Ct. East and also 15th Street adjacent to the airport property.  Preparation work for the foundation for the water treatment building will also begin on the Lockheed Martin site.
