Construction work continuing on Lockheed Martin site

Drilling and foundation preparation work are continuing this week on the Lockheed Martin site at 1600 Tallevast Road.  The drilling activities in the Tallevast residential community area were safely completed last week.  The only remaining wells to be drilled near that area will be on the railroad track right of way south of Tallevast Road within the next few weeks.

Currently extraction well drilling is happening on several areas of the Lockheed Martin site along with the ongoing foundation preparation work for the water treatment facility.

Last week, drilling was completed at the Tallevast Post Office and on 17th St. Court East.  Development and yield testing activities will be conducted at the completed well sites this week and next.  Next week, Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, work will continue on the Lockheed Martin site with foundation installation activities and additional extraction well drilling.
