Meet the dedicated individuals behind Lockheed Martin’s activities in the Tallevast community.

Paul Calligan, Tallevast Project Manager 
Paul brings to Tallevast his extensive experience in the areas of geologic and hydrogeologic investigation, assessment and remedial action for contaminated soil and groundwater. Paul works as Lockheed Martin’s Technical Operations Lead on the former American Beryllium Company site.

Paul’s favorite part of his job is committing to a goal that benefits the environment and the community and seeing it come to fruition. A licensed professional geologist, Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Tampa’s University of South Florida and did postgraduate studies in hydrogeology at Florida State University in Tallahassee.

Gary Cambre, Communications Manager
Gary brings 23 years of hands-on public affairs and communications experience to the Tallevast Community as part of the Lockheed Martin team. After spending the majority of his career in communications and community relations with a Fortune 100 company in Louisiana, Gary relocated to Manatee County in order to focus on efforts in Tallevast and work directly in the community. He is an experienced, creative problem solver, and has developed effective programs on complex issues throughout his career. He has a particular interest in developing and implementing effective communications programs between the company and its neighbors and community leaders in Tallevast. Among his duties in Tallevast is meeting with community representatives and members of the news media to ensure open lines of communication, as well as working with school system representatives and area business groups as part of Lockheed Martin’s ongoing commitment to the Tallevast and surrounding communities.

Gary brings a background in television and radio news to the job, having been a reporter and producer for the NBC-TV affiliate in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Gary’s creative work in communications has been well-recognized, with accolades from the International Television Association and the International Association of Business Communicators. Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University and received his certification as an Accredited Public Relations Professional from the Public Relations Society of America. Gary and his wife of 28 years, Mollie, reside in Manatee County.

Gary Wroblewski, project and resource manager with ARCADIS
Gary's 20 years of hands-on experience in environmental consulting have been put to use in Tallevast since 2006. A chemical engineer by training, Gary's technical expertise in investigation, remediation and facility compliance are particularly relevant. He functions as a project and resource manager with ARCADIS, an international company working for Lockheed Martin providing engineering and management services in infrastructure, environment and buildings.

Gary's primary role on the Tallevast project is as project manager for the Earth Sciences related activities on site. This includes Remedial Action Plans, investigations, and responding to community and government agency inquiries. He also serves a key function in determining the needs of the community, putting the right team together to respond to those needs, and guiding the timely delivery of the work and service. Gary applies a proven approach to his work, including best-team practices, working toward a common goal, and following a mantra of "do it right, do it safely." Gary earned his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Lafayette College in Easton, PA.
