Buildings Dismantlement at 1600 Tallevast Road - Update #3

Progress on the removal of the roof for building 1 has progressed smoothly.  The gravel and other roofing materials were first removed and then the concrete roof covering was cut into sections and removed.  As you can see from the photos, the steel roofing support beams are still in place. 

During the week between Christmas and New Year’s (December 24th through January 2nd), Lockheed Martin will conduct no work on the property, (with the exception of the operation of the interim treatment system). External building dismantlement will begin again the week of January 3, 2011.
