Gary brings more than 25 years of hands-on public affairs and communications experience to the Tallevast Community as part of the Lockheed Martin team. After spending the majority of his career in communications and community relations with a Fortune 100 company in Louisiana, Gary relocated to Manatee County in 2009 to focus on efforts in Tallevast and work directly in the community. He is an experienced, creative problem solver, and has developed effective programs on complex issues throughout his career. He has a particular interest in developing and implementing effective communications programs between the company and its neighbors and community leaders in Tallevast. Among his duties in Tallevast is meeting with community representatives and members of the news media to ensure open lines of communication, as well as working with school system representatives and area business groups as part of Lockheed Martin’s ongoing commitment to the Tallevast and surrounding communities.

Gary began his career as a television news reporter and producer for the NBC-TV affiliate in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Gary’s creative work in communications has been well-recognized, with accolades from the International Television Association and the International Association of Business Communicators. Gary earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University and received his certification as an Accredited Public Relations Professional from the Public Relations Society of America. Gary and his wife of 30 years, Mollie, reside in Manatee County.
